I was reading through a few posts and saw that most clarify/protein a few days after their relaxer. Couldn't it be done immediately after relaxing?

I don't know if a hard core protein (like emergencee) can be done immediately following a relaxer, but I know that my relaxer comes with the Milky Reconstructor (which is a mild protein similar to keraphix) that is to be applied following application of the relaxer and shampooing and stuff.

I do a heavy duty protein right after I relax MOST of the time (not all). I don't clarify because I feel most neutralizing shampoos take care of that. 
Some people don't like it because it re-encourages the curl that the relaxer is applied to remove, but I don't mind because I don't like my hair to be bone straight and I feel it assists my basic purpose - which is to just loosen my curl some.
