At hair Luncheons, I am the only one with out a wig or a weave.

Really? I see a lot of naturals in the CHI, especially downtown, Wicker Park and Hyde Park/Kenwood.

I've been in NYC since 1996 (Brooklyn since 1997) and have noticed more and more naturals in Brooklyn than any other place in the country. There are still tons of wigs & weaves & braids but for the most part I am noticing more naturals.

I'm also seeing more naturals on t.v. There is a new detergent commercial with a black couple in bed and he goes crazy over the smell of the sheets instead of his wife in some wanna be sexy lingerie. That actress is natural as well as many actresses in car commercials and also clothing commercials. Not sure if this is normal or if I'm just noticing it more since I'm transitioning?

DC definately.....
