Chemistry Gurus, I have a question

I mixed Bhringraraj Oil in my Suave Conditioner and now it's sudsy like shampoo. I poured in way more than I wanted by accident and, at first, I thought I just wasted a whole bottle of conditioner. On the contrary, it's actually been a good thing. My hair is stronger as a result and has no oily residue like when I mixed in olive oil. Even the weaker areas of my hair have strengthened.

But.....instead of being soft and creamy like conditioner it's now sudsy like shampoo. Why did this happen? Anybody know?

Innnnnteresting.

It might be a different PH level. I think a couple of the herbs in the BO are acidic, as I remember, and that could create a 'foamy' feeling. Does it actually sud up as you rub it in your hands, or does it come out of the bottle foamy? Has it been stable? How long ago did you do this?

Most interesting....

Well, it comes out kinda foamy. It feels like soap. When I put it in my hair that's when it really foams up. I did this, I think, about a week ago, maybe, a little more. Not sure what you mean by is it stable. It does separate when it sits for awhile with the oil on the bottom and the rest on top. I use it everyday since I'm a daily cowasher.

Yeah, I know. I find it interesting, too. Since I use it everyday after awhile it just piqued my curiosity more and more. That's why I posted about it.

I'm trynna make my own shampoo with amla and aritha or shikakai, and I'm stuck at making it a little foamy, so this is very interesting to me as well.
