It's dedicated to hair. I browsed through it and it has a lot of good info. It also says that rinsing the hair with cold water doesn't close the cuticles of the hair. It says temperature does not affect this. I only browsed so I don't remember it all. If someone gets there hands on it, please fill us all in on the info they give.

It also led me to believe that using heat during conditioning is not necessary since temperature doesn't affect the opening or closing of the cuticles. I hope someone else can read through that issue and see if they get that same idea.

Well keep in mind that some of the stuff we use to deep condition actually says to use heat in the directions; the makers of the products know that it will work best with heat. So don't feel like you're using a heat cap for nothing.
