I usually wash and flat iron my hair every week. I noticed that tiny pieces of hair would be everywhere when I'm done. Then my hair started to break off a lot. So that's why I'm getting a relaxer right now. Hopefully, I can find a hair stylist that would do it under $50. Most of them want to charge me a $100.

WOW lovely thick hair

If your hair is breaking right now I don't think I would get a relaxer. It's beautiful natural girl!

You have great natural hair and it is extremely loong! Also, I agree in wondering if it's a good idea to relax it at this time? I get a mild relaxer because my hair has always been fragile and fine but even the mild ones can be harsh on hair that is already weakened and/or breaking etc...Whatever you decide to do keep us posted and keep up the good work! :-)

First of all your hair is gorgeous. However, if your hair is breaking getting a relaxer now would only be adding fuel to fire. Perhaps you could try laying off the flat ironing (Heat) for a while as this could be the reason for your breaking hair. You could try using a protein treatment to strengthen your hair to help put a stop to the breaking. Also try using protective styles to allow your hair to "heal" while it takes a break from the heat. This should put a stop if not atleast help with the breaking.
