Question Chat: Does anyone use it?

I was excited to use see there is a chat option, however even though I have installed Java it is blocked even after asking Java to trust the site...

Does anyone even use the chat, any way? Is it up and working?

Just curious if I am waisting my time spinning wheels to get somewhere and there is no one there..
