Has anyone experienced a change in texture from wrapping? I used to wrap my hair up at night in the same direction - from left to right every night since I was about 13. Now the front left side of my hair is dryer and straighter than the rest of my head. It also grows really slow. I've been transitioning for 23 weeks now and I intended to BC but now I'm having second thoughts. I have what looks like 4 textures in my hair and have no idea how to work with them all. Braid outs and twist outs look a lot different on both side so I'm out of style ideas.
Is anyone else mixed up like this? Does the texture change after the BC? I'm trying to stay away from heat for fear of any more damage, but I'm getting sick of this bun.
