I used my ceramic curling iron today to smooth my air-dried hair & since I rarely use it, I guess I never noticed this before but I am ready to roll with the Jilbere company
I had exactly the same problem. I have used my Jilbere iron maybe 3 times in three+ months. It turned out that I did not have the iron hot enough. I was pulling the darn thing through my hair and snag-city resulted. My friend who is a hairdresser at home (L.A.) suggested I did not have it turned up high enough. The next time I used it, I turned the dial up increment by increment until it was hot enough to straighten without being too hot and without snagging and it worked! It glided through my hair and my hair looked great when I was done. Normally, I use the lower numbers on electric appliances for my fine hair, but found the Jilbere required I move up. You might consider this.
Supergirl, did you try the flat iron again at a higher setting? I am having the same problem with the snapping and I set my setting between 4-5. I have a wedding the first week of Nov and I was planning to flat iron.
