tasha,
they are the real thing as far as I know, unless that site is selling them bootleg...lol. CHI irons are supposed to be fully ceramic. Also, there are sellers on ebay and u can get them for about $95 brand new. I have one coming this week, cant wait! I wanted the turbo bc the original doesnt have heat settings.

tasha, i just bought the .7" turbo Chi flatiron yesterday and i already love it! In the summer i always have problems with humidity and frizz, but not anymore! I bought mine from Ulta for around $150, but it was worth it.

I think that site is listing fakes because if u go to farouk.com and look at the real ones, ther look different, example being the writing on the side, but I could be mistaken.

Dion, I didnt try the hot tools but Im assuming its comparable to jibere(Sally's) bc its the same price...I returned my jibere bc it didnt do anything. It didnt get hot enough.

I heard the gold n hot is probably the worse one of all!

Thanks for all your replies ladies

I know my post is late, but I bought my CHI iron from this site and it's the real thing. They were running a sale and mine was $89.00 or $99.00 at the time.

Kitchen tician, have you used it yet? How do you like it so far? I hear that a CHI can make any kind of hair feel like straight up silk. I am dying to get one.

I just ordered from a site www.follica.com and got a Sedu iron from another member's recommendation. I am EXTREMELY PLEASED with my purchase & it came in the time the site stated. I like the fact that they have customer reviews & deeply discounted prices.
