I thought at first you meant the sponge rollers with the satin covers. I was about to panic because I just put some of those in my hair!!

I have never had those issues; could it be the brand? I think mine are either Goody or Hype Hair.

Thanks for your review. I bought about 3 packs of these rollers from ebay earlier this year. I have not used them yet, but I will be VERY careful when I do.

I LOVE those rollers!

I have never had a problem with them. My daughter and I have been using them for a very long time. Maybe you just have a defective set.

I know what you are talking about OP, I have those same rollers, and I think it's the poorly sewn seams because I have a few that are falling apart at the part you twirl to secure in your hair. I might just replace the ones I have with a new set when I get a chance.
