Serenity- Gurl it helps more than you will ever know. Thanx
Awesomely Nappy- I am not sure if pure castor oil can be a solid but I think it can. When I asked solid though I was thinking in terms of like the jars of castor oil hairdresses you will find in the BSS. Now that I think about that I guess that is kinda a silly question then because they are not pure castor oil like the liquid would be But I am still interested in knowing if anyone uses them with success
I use them both in liquid form. I find coconut oil works better on wet or damp hair as a sealant, and castor oil works much better on my dry hair. Especially the ends.
i use coconut oil. i buy it in the cooking section and it is solid. i let it sit out and it melts and becomes liquid. i use it for my baggy method with a moisturizer. i have been using BB Moisturizing Growth Lotion, and then seal it with the coconut oil. my hair feels awesome in the morning.
i also have been using the ultra thick hair shake mixed in with my morning smoothie. i have been using it for a month now and am on my second container. i actually have new growth! i haven't had a relaxer since the beginning of june. i'll get one next month coz this new growth is painful.
Wow, thanx ladies. I had been gone for a lil while but see there were some more replies. D- thanx much for the link. Thanks to you all for the product suggestions, methods and the whole nine. You gurls are great. Looks like I will probably be sticking with the castor oil but I may try a lil coocnut oil just to satisfy my own curiosity.
