Heya all

Wanted to know if anyone else gets this, i have started using castor oil, but it seems to be making my hair a little hard, is there a way of diluting it so its not so sticky?

still not getting super soft hair like you ladies, have relaxed hair with about two inches of new growth:look:

I mix mine with conditioner and spring water shake and spray. I sometimes use it srt8 on wet moisturized hair to seal.

i know there's one you can drink, just started my regime so know very little about different types of hair products

I use castor oil but I don't use it daily. If you are using it daily I suspect that is the reason for your hard hair. Try to cut back and use it about 2 times in a week and use only a small amount(smaller than a dime, just enough to coat). Also just try in on your newgrowth and ends only instead of the entire hair shaft if this is what you are doing. I hope this helps.

I use the Castor Oil that can be found in the laxative section. I use it to seal and protect my ends after I moisturize daily. I also use it on wet hair before I rollerset.

When I use it at night after my daily moisturizer I add a few drops of Jojoba Oil to it which makes it easy to spread. In the morning I have soft hair, it's never hard or crunchy. If I know it's going to be a bitterly cold/windy day I might add a little more castor oil mixed with a pomade or a serum to my ends before going out. HTH

I mix it with other oils or an oil blend to make it spread easier, and I use it either on my ends or on my hairline.

I bought some from the Indian store, I've only been using it for a couple of days, I want to try the black castor oil, I wonder if it's really that much of a difference, everytime I get on this board I see so many new things I want to try, I have to make myself not buy too much.
