who uses them and how does it help your hair besides the fact that there is no heat damage to your hair i was at
sallys today and was tempted to buy the box for 30 something
dollars

I use Caruso Rollers. In fact, I LOVE my Caruso rollers becasue my hair coems out sft, shiny, and bouncy.

I also like to think of it as a mini-steam treatment for my hair.

How do you use those things? I bought some from Sally'a awhile ago and I had to take them back because the one time i tried....oh my. I had curls but they were so frizzy that i just twisted my hair into a bun

i too was wondering about the Caruso rollers. Do they work on natural hair?

your hair comes out frizzy if it is wet or you let the rollers steam too much, try shaking the rollers to take out the excess moisture.

I use the caruso rollers. I really like them. They leave my hair really soft and shiny. I use them to create loose curls, waves, and even tight small curls. I steam my rollers for a while if I want a tighter curl, however this requires you to leave it in your hair longer in order for it to not frizz. Hope this helps!!

I love mine! My hair is sooooooo sssoooft after I use them I wondered why I stopped using them. Oh yeah I've been getting braids. Using the Caruso you don't have to working about breakage!!!

I used to co-own the CAruso with my mom. I loved it, but somehow it got overshadowed by the hard press of the large barrel curling iron and flat iron. Now that I'm out of that "fry girl" stage, I'd love to invest in another one. I also like to use it to give myself a steam facial.

Same here - I just LOVE my Caruso - quick and easy curls - last long and healthy.
Don't oversteam the curlers, that could cause the frizzy. They only need to be on the steamer for a few seconds. HTH!

I won't use them again until winter cause I'm on a strict "no heat" regime this summer & fall...... but they infuse my strands with moisture... they also make my hair hold curls all day long....sometimes 2-3 days depending if I pin curl at night

I tried the Caruso Rollers a few years ago and they made my hair really frizzy and brittle feeling. Maybe it was because I didn't put any kind of oil in my hair before I did it. For those of you that like the rollers, do you use oil in your hair before or after you roll your hair?

I put a tiny bit of oil on my hair before i use my caruso but the main thing is to make sure you only leave them on the steamer for a couple of seconds, I usually put mine on for about 8 seconds on the steamer..

Did you get any breakage from the sponge part of the rollers? I would think that the hair would get caught in the sponge since you can't use any kind of end paper.

I don't get any breakage from the sponge - also the key is to not leave the roller on the steamer very long - a few seconds will do!

I was reading the insturction and it said for our hair to use a setting lotion. Do any of you do that. Also do you use them right after you wash your hair and it's dry or slightly damp or would you flat iron and then use them. I just find my set and I never used it on my relaxed hair from fear of frizz. I only used them to give my braids some curl.

I don't use setting lotion w/ mine. I am relaxed and use them on dry hair. No frizz, as I mentioned before keep the curler on the steamer for just a few seconds.
