Carrot Oil

Has anyone ever used Carrot Oil by itself or mixed with other oils? My mom said that someone in our family used some and made her hair grow like crazy.

Maybe it's because of the beta carrotene or something. I don't think it'll weigh my hair down, since I don't want anything heavy on my fine hair.

I use the Carrot Oil by Organic Root Stimulator. I like to use it on damp hair and let it dry into my hair because of the smell. I also use it on my roots when it gets close to touch up time because it moisturizes my roots really well and it helps minimize breakage.

I love infused carrot oil

It's incredibly softening, silkening and so concentrated. I get mine at Cedarvale.net. Great prices and SUPERIOR quality.

My favorite use of infused carrot oil is to add a bit to olive oil for a hot oil treatment. Especially nice in the winter.

I also like to use it with jojoba for a scalp massage or extra boost for dry ends. It takes so little of the infused carrot oil.

Your comment about the growth...I know you are right about the beta carotene note...same thing when you drink carrot juice

Great for skin, hair and nails.

Definitely try some....

I use carrot oil (Hollywood Beauty...I think) as a hot oil treatment when I take out my braids. It reduces breakage and shedding.

I use ORS Carrot Oil. I like to mix the carrot oil with a little castor oil. After I wash, I spray on a leave-in then work the carrot oil mixture into wet hair. After that, I comb through effortlessly. It leaves my hair smooth and shiny.

Around touch-up time, I use this mixture to soften the new growth.
