Hey ladies can you tell me your experiences with Carol daughter products. Which are good and which or not? Are do you use it at all? I just wanted to hear from you all before i made a purchase thanks!

I have purchased several products and only have one complaint....The Tui Hair Smoothie. I have fine, thin hair and after using it my hair felt stripped and shedded alot. I used it as directed and maybe a little to often. With both ways I found that it just didn't work on my hair. I love the Healty Hair Butter!!!! My hair soaks it up and is very healthy now. I like the Lisa's Elixir too. The smell is kinda strong but it helps to seal in the moisture from the Healthy Hair Butter.

I would search the threads to find out what product(s) people had the most negative experiences with and go from there.

I would say Yes...They are a good starting point. I used two of their products consistently for my twists and liked the results: Healthy Hair Butter & Mimosa Hair Honey

Over time though I realized I didnt need them and I could do my twists with just castor oil. My hair was more moisturized this way and I experienced less build-up.

So I guess you just have to play with it...I think they are good products though.

I've tried several of the Carol's Daughter products. I really like the Healthy Hair Butter. Other than that, I hated the hair balm (too greasy & didn't do anything for me) and the hair milk (didn't do much for me either).

I like the Healthy Hair Butter. I have to dilute The Tui leave-in with distilled water because when I use it full strength my scalp itches. I tried the loc butter, it also made my scalp itch. I'm starting to think her products have something in it that my scalp doesn't like.

i tried the products, hair milk, hair butter, tui(sp) shampoo(the poo didnt even lather. is it supposed to not do that?), conditoner...i wasnt that impressed and then when i went to my hair stylist she had to wash my hair again and then asked me if i was using something with beeswax. i had to think a minute:look: and then i recalled carol's daughter had that in it. she said my hair had a lot of build up. i hadnt even been using it that long either, like about 2 weeks and not alot. so i gave some of it away and still have some. i just equated build up with something that was bad especially since she couldnt tell me how to get rid of the build up! maybe i'll use it again since i know more about build up and clarifying:p

I've only purchased and tried one of products by Carol's Daughter, the Healthy Hair Butter. I haven't had any bad experiences with it and use it daily. Be careful because it could get heavy if you use a lot of it. I only put a very small amount on my hair. Otherwise, it would get weighed down. The only(somewhat) negative thing I'd say about it is that you have to get used to the smell. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't smell bad, but it was something that I wasn't used to. I don't mind it now.
