Has anyone had really good results from using Carol's Daughter's hair products that would make you add them to your must haves? If so, what were the products and results?

Thanks

I have been using some of margurite's magic. I like it, but I don't use it alone. I mix it with coconut oil, qpelasta mango butter and essential fatty acids. But I love it as an ingredient in my supermosituremix. What I like most about it is that it is a thick cream but when I mix it, I end up with a smooth oil and then I apply it to my hair and I feel my hair is protected.

I agree with bajanplums, some of magaurite's magic is great. After applying it to my kitchen area which is very tightly coiled, I spray with s-curl, the combination is great for that area of my hair--it is too thick for the rest of my hair however. I also love her hair milk for my whole head. I like the consistency and the smell, also very moisturizing and seems to make waves especially pretty. I also really like the Khoret Amen hair oil. Smells a little medicinal but I like it and it's very soothing for an itchy or dry scalp.

I love the hair milk and the healthy hair butter. i use them when i do my braidouts and I always end up with very defined waves that I don't get from other products. It also helps to keep my hair moisturized when wearing this style which I love because i've tried a lot of other products on my braidouts and it still ended up looking dry.

I love me some Carol's Daughter!!

I use Healthy Hair Butter on the entire length of my hair, along with WGO. This combo is great for my hair. I also like Marguerite's Magic for my kitchen and hair when it's extra dry. I also use her Ginger Mango cream that is really for a lotion but it can also be used in the hair. I use that like hair gel, to smooth since I really don't use gel anymore, except for the occasional Elasta QP conditioning sheen gel (has no alchohol). I love the way the Ginger Mango smells, especially in the summer!!

I used to use the hair milk on my hair when it was natural and then also when I texturized it. I like to use that when I would wear my hair out and curly after washing it. I miss my texturized hair :( sometimes.

Carol's Daughter fan here!! I love her healthy hair butter ( I apply this ONLY after washing my hair), her Ocean shampoo (smells awesome), Vanilla Herbal Mist (just for the smell and it livens my two strands) and the Hair milk ( I like it. Others say it is too greasy but that is just what I need cause my hair 'eats' oil. I like the smell too).

In addition to her hair products, I am a fan of her body products, too.

Can anyone describe the difference between the Margurite;s Magic & the Healthy Hair Butter???? I am curious bc I have only used Margurite's Magic.

From what I 'hear' about Margurite's, it's very oily or greasy. The healthy hair butter IMO is creamy in texture and requires refridgeration for extended use;however, if you keep it in a room temperature controlled area, you should be okay. HHB is not oily to me, and it keeps my hair moisturized until I wash again (a week later). HTH

I absolutely love the hair milk. On my dry and wet hair it adds lots of moisture and softness to my hair. I don't like runny (watery) moisturizers so this one is perfect for me! It is oil based.

The mimosa hair honey is o.k. too!

I love the Healthy Hair Butter and Honey Mimosa, I use them together and it keeps my hair is so moisterized.

The biggest difference to me is that the Magic is creamier and kind of melts into my hair even though it is thick. The butter is too thick for my hair, it just sits on my hair. I love Some of Marguarite's Magic! :yep:

I have the HHB and Hair Milk. The HM creates very nice waves on my wet hair and defines my coils, but for the love of all that's good and holy I can't STAND the smell. I put up with it after washing my hair, though, because it moisturizes really well.

The HHB works really well on my hair, also. Yeah, it's thick, but it does a good job on my hair. My underprocessed hair really soaks it up.

I'd love to try Marguerite's Magic, though. Sounds yummy.

Carol's Daughter Hair Milk is one of my staples; I use it to moisturize my ends and new growth and it works very well. The only thing I don't like about the Hair Milk is the scent, but I only use it at night so the scent is pretty much gone by the morning. I like the scent of the Healthy Hair Butter and use a small amount of it sometimes to moisturize my ends as well.

I mix her hair milk and mimosa honey to do my braid outs and they come out good every time. I also use a leave in conditer that is fresh herb that you steep in hot water first. i love it!! Also her skin lotion are great too. I'm a customer for life.

I absolutely couldn't wear my natural hair w/o HHB and HM. I use the HHB for any and all protective styles (twists, braids, etc.) and I use the HM for any loose styles. My hair is like the Sahara Desert so it loves all the moisture it can get. I tried to use these same products on my relaxed hair and it didn't go to well. A little too heavy.

I've just started using CD products. I've purchased the HHB, HM, Mimosa Hair Honey, Tui Leave-in, and Hair Balm. My hair is relaxed. I'm a mixed textured puppy...2,3,and some 4a. I love them all. I use CD products when my hair is wet. IF I need some extra TLC in the AM, I might use a few drops of the hair balm after a light water mist.

I have only tried the healthy hair butter. I didnt really like the smell but it did a great job of defining wave definition for my braid/twist outs. Use it with a light hand because it can get greasy.
