Does anyone know why products for fine hair aren't really that moisturizing..I have found them to be difficult to comb thru my hair...unlike more moisturizing products which I find that they are a bit heavy on my ends causing breakage...can anyone recommend a regimen for fine/thin hair where as the products don't make my hair feel so dry.

I have fine hair--here are some of the products that are good for moisture:

Shampoos:
Dudley's Mild Cleanser
Creme of Nature

Conditioners:
Miss Key 10 en 1
Dudley's Creme Protein Conditioner

Other:
MTG (use with plastic cap at nite & in the gym)
Elasta QP Mango Butter (good for moisturing new growth)
EVOO
Carrot Oil

I know what you mean about typical moisturizers--i find them very heavy and they defeat the purpose. If concentrating on your ends, I have found that oils work the best. EVOO and Carrot oil are my favorites. Hope that helps.
