Cant tell newgrowth from Texlaxed hair?

I have been texlaxing for about 6 months now(this will be my second time), I plan to texlax in August which I will be 12wks . The only problem is I cant tell my new growth from my texlaxed hair this time ! The only place where I can actually identify my new growth is my sides. How should I go about applying the relaxer this go round? any tips on how to determine which is which? Thanks in advance

Well I'm just wondering, but if your new growth is as smooth as the texlaxed hair is there really any need to touch up?

I can see a big difference between my new growth after 12 weeks and my texlaxed hair. But I don't think I would texlax ever again if my new growth looked just like the texlaxed hair.

Thanks for responding lana, the only areas where I can actually tell the difference is the front and sides of my hair, the rest has basically the same texture and and wave pattern. I was thinking about not texlaxing, but I wear a partial sew in and the edges are starting to look bad, especially with all this heat. I don't know, maybe I will hold off until the fall.

I'm going through the same thing right now. I telaxed a 3 weeks ago, but I think I may have really underprocessed my hair b/c I don't really have NG yet but my roots feel like they are 8+ weeks post. So I don't know what I'm going to do when its time to relax, I am trying to stretch till the end of year though so we'll see.
