Those of you in Canada that order wigs online, how much is import tax? I've got my eye on a unit from bestlacewigs and wanted to know approximately how much the tax would be.

I would like to know this as well. I was looking specifically for a half wig called "runway girl" from Free Tress and they don't have it here in Toronto. Does anyone have any recommendations for good sites where this or any wigs can be ordered from. Sorry I don't mean to hijack the thread OP.

halee_J, I 've ordered a few wigs from US vendors and have never paid any import taxes just standard HST plus whatever processing fee ($5) the post office charges. I've found most beauty products from south of the border tend to be duty free. I'm in Toronto.

halee_J I've never ordered wigs but I have noticed that depending on the weight of whatever I've ordered I may have to pay an extra fee when it's delivered to my door. Never more than about 15 dollars. I imagine a wig wouldn't count as an overweight item.
