can you wash sengalese twist?

My sister has had them for like three weeks and hasn't done anything but moisturized it. My mom said she heard you can't wash it? I think that's nasty and not true. But I don't know anything about fake hair and neither do they.

Personally, I've had bad experience with this if the person is natural. The real hair kinks and the weave stays silky. It's looks terrible

You can wash, dry wash,. Shampoo in nozzled bottle and diluted with water, and scrub scalp, I do 4ounces parts water to every say tbsp of shampoo, I have a premade bottle, do this about once, to make sure getting every root of each braid I divide hair into sections...

To rinse just spray with a lot of water, I do this to every section after shampooed all sections, so yea this can take a long time, hence why I only do it once.. take towel an squeeze length of braids... moisture, etc try not to get the length that wet as they will be heavy and take longer to dry... I have had them down twice...

Definitely needs to be done to remove gunk from roots, and lessen shedding when take own... If keeping in more than a month, I would say do every 2/3 weeks... They should last for min 8wks

BTW, I got done professionally, african spot, and they braided first 1/2 inch... I got done on natural blown/Stretched out hair..

If she's natural probably not. Mine slid half an inch on the first wash and my real hair proofed around the fake hair....barely lasted 6 weeks.
