Or will that make your hair too mushy?

I have to wash my hair in the morning and I'm thinking that some DC action would be good, but I won't have time to do it then . . . .

Of course, I could always just wash tonight . . . hmm . . . .

same here: it just seems like it protected my hair from any breakage: which is good but I thought my hair would be 10x more softer & smoother: it just feels that way: when I'm using Amla Oil as a prepoo: thats about it: but it isn't no harm in keeping it in over night

My hair loves overnight DC. I stopped for awhile out of sheer laziness then just started again about two weeks ago and my hair is silky feeling and way less tangles. Also helps keep it from being overly fluffy while I'm trying to rock my bun.

I say go for it! I like doing it, especially with Trader Joe's Nourish Spa Conditioner (and sometimes a layer of Sweet Almond Oil on top).

You can totally DC overnight. I wouldn't do it every night but as often as once a week shouldn't cause you any problems!

I like to when my hair is seriously dry. Only certain conditioners though...some leave my hair tooooo soft. But some leave it just right!

That's correct... I would not use any protein containing product on my hair over night... But that's just me... I just started doing the over night conditioning and my hair loves it... I spritz some oil on top and bag it...
Silky soft hair in the morning:eek: ... I love it...

LadyZ... your hair is silky soft in the morning before or after you wash the conditioner out? I find that conditioning over night usually leaves my hair nice and soft until I rinse it out and let it airdry...I don't see much of a difference once it's dry :-/

I do it all of the time. I do not have the energy to sit around while i have conditioner in my hair. So I load up my DPR-11 with oil put it and one of those cholersterol caps on and call it a night. When I wake up I rinse and I don't have to add anything to my hair. I don't do it with protien, well no I take that back, I have a habit of doing it with Cholesterol but not a very serious protein. I never have hard hair but then again my hair is not predisposed to being hard.

Yes, It stays pretty soft n silky after I roller set... providing I use the right leave-ins and moisturizers... After I am 5 weeks post... My hair is very unruly... I am do for a touch up next week, I am 8 weeks post now:eek: and I will doing a full hair treatment(over night conditioning), roller set too...I will let you know how it turns out...

I actually just did this last night. I was soooooo sleepy, I fell asleep on my couch with my cap still on:lol: . I rinsed this morning, put in a ponytail, braided the ponytail and put up with a clip in a bun-like style. It airdried. When I get home tonight, I will re-wet and rollerset.
