Can we talk wedding day hair?!

Getting married 10.10.15 :wavey: Just bc'd so I'm natural now.. not sure what the plan is for my hair. :drunk: My original plan was the sideswept look definitely, but now, I don't know...

I kinda feel like we are destined to be friends lol. We have the same birthday, and our wedding dates are 1 day apart. I originally wanted 10-10, which is our 5 yr anniversary but the venue was booked so I settled for 10-11.

so ladies who plan on weaving it up, are you natural or relaxed? If you're natural, will it be a full weave? I'm afraid of reversion

Here's some more

Just bit the bullet and ordered some Big Chop Hair clip ins.... Lawdy. I wanted to order them now so I can have time to play around with them to get the look I want, plus I needed to see if one pack was enough or if I need to order an extra half pack (hoping one pack is enough for this look!!).

Been watching YouTube vids like crazy on curly clip ins. The biggest thing Im worried about is that my hair is on the shorter side and I got 18 inch clips. :lachen: I've seen several vids where it blended beautifully because the texture is the same, but we shall see. I got a longer length so I can cut as necessary if I feel it's too long, but I can't add length if it was too short, so... yeah. Gotta color them to match kinda close to my hair color.

I've attached a photo of how I HOPE my hair will turn out lol. My curls are tighter, so are the clip ins. I may do a twist out to get a looser curl but I'm not too worried about tighter curls.

So.....what are y'all doing for your hair?? :look:

I'm getting married outside in August and we are heading straight to our honeymoon in the Caribbean so straightening it is completely not an option.

I was thinking of setting my hair in a flat twist out and then taking it out the day of to pin into an updo. I want a professional stylist to do it but I don't have anyone in mind :nono:

How are you ladies, especially those of you with natural hair, planning on tackling this issue?
Natural hair in August can be tricky, but it can be done imo (as long as it's not a straight style). Play around with your hair and the styles you want to try out before then, and see how well they hold up. I plan on wearing my hair straight with pin curls (but it will be inside and during the cooler months).

Im natural and i did a full weave with little hair out in perimeter. i used extensions plus relaxed texture. if you dont want to straighten get curly hair that will match your natural texture.

So the big chop clips were a fail. :nono: It was just hard for me to work with because my hair was SO much shorter than the clips (I'm 7 mos post bc). So trying to blend is hard and doesn't look nice to me. So back to the drawing board... FH said he likes when I wear my hair in a curly puff, and asked if I could just add some hair to that to make it bigger. I might give that a try; I tried making my curly puff into a bun this weekend but couldn't quite get it. I think I let my hair airdry too much and it shrunk up, but if I ran the blowdryer over my curls to stretch them out, I might get a better, bigger looking bun. :drunk: We'll see. I also saw a cute style on youtube that was a weave low bun, but that goes right back to the drawing board of trying to find hair, get it the right color etc.... Lawdy.

How about box braids? I'm still deciding between braids and weave. I've never worn weave so I think I might feel more comfortable in a braided-do.
