CAN U DYE SYNTHETIC HAIR?

I just got my braids done with synthetic hair and I'm not exactly loving the light brown. Dark brown or black looks better on my face. So I was wondering...will synthetic hair take a rinse?

I'm not 100% sure but I doubt it since it is plastic really.

Nope, not with a permenant you cant. You may be able to get a little tint with a semi but not a permanent.. I tried it before and basically wasted $4.49

Soslychic, it's sometimes hard to tell how a color will look on you until you wear it. So before I buy extensions, I'll place the bagged piece next to my face and look in the mirror. If the store staff let me touch it (if bag's open), I will slightly twist it before putting it close to my face to better see how the braids will look. Still the colors may not quite be to my liking and so I may buy two pieces of different but close shades and mix 'em equally to get the in-between color I seek.
