How can i prevent breakage when i take my braids down. I dont want a handful of hair in my comb. People always say well its probably shed naturally. If thats the case my hair will never get any longer. So whats the point of having a hair goal?
An easy way to tell the difference between a broken hair and shed hair is too see if there is a small white bulb at the root of the hair. If not, then it's breakage.

Hmm my hair used to do that until I started treating it with protein conditioners (not too often) and PLENTY of moisturizing products. (Whenever my ends got dry they broke off so i KEEP them moisturized) What do you put into your hair when it is in braids? How often do you get it braided? and make sure it's not getting braided too tight.
