Can someone clarify baggying for me???

I am a newbie When baggying, after you put whatever product your gonna put on your hair, baggy it, and go to sleep for the night, are you not supposed to wash all that product out.

I may be misunderstanding something in the process, somebody school me!!!!!

I use a regular dail moisturizer and then I seal with oil. No I don't wash it out in the morning.
