Be used on dry hair? The directions say to use on damp hair so I'm not sure if it will work on already dry hair, also has anyone used this when doing braid/twist outs?

I haven't used mine yet. When I do, I actually plan on using it on wet hair. If I happen to use it on dry hair, I will certainly let you know.

It would be too heavy if used on dry hair.

I used it on dry hair and had a mess. At the advice of the ladies here on the board, I used it on wet hair and it came out soft and silky.

I used it on dry hair as well and it was too heavy. I use it routinely on wet hair and it really helps me form nice curls when I airdry.
