I transitioned to natural hair and have been quite successful by the grace of God. So, now that I have that under my belt, my next challenge is one that may take me to uncharted territory...............no trims or cuts this year at all. Can it be done??? Let me hear your story. My goal is to get my hair like the little girl in white.........love it!

I don't trim my hair very often.
Mostly because I dont trust my hairdresser but yeah.. Good luck!

I wanna know too. Now that I'm texlaxed I have to straighten my hair to trim and thats too much work for me.

With lots of psing and m/s and atleast a few dusting here or there......also starting off with a good trim and also a solid reggie wherevyou are not experimenting........I don't see why not

Yes it can be done. Split ends mean something is wrong. Either the health of the hair or the treatment or lack there of. Hair needs moisture, nutrition and protection. Cut hair is damaged by definition. Natural tips taper and are sealed. Like an Ice cream cone or a blade of grass. The scales cover the core like the covering on an ear of corn. Once stripped away rapid drying begins. They are your friend not your enemy. Keep the natural tip protected and sealed. No trims over 10 years. No S&D for 1 1/2 years. Even then it was only to get a SSk. I don''t even bother with those now.
