I was wondering if hair texture or type can change with age (hormones, etc). In the past, I was able to air dry my relaxed hair and with a little gel and scunching, it would curl. I've noticed that for a while now if I air dry with gel my hair barely gets a wave in it. Could my new relaxer be too strong? I used to use regular lye (way back when) and switched to regular no-lye... any ideas?

I think it can change with age but could also be that your hair is more relaxed.

I'm more liable to believe the formula of the relaxer changed than to believe that the texture of your hair changed..... :look:
