Along that same line is my absolute fav, but Cuban Hair Products are Mirtha de Perales Hair Mask and Balsam Conditioner. I swear by her stuff an I have used just about everything in her line since college (early 90's). I have not tried her S Oil Shampoo, but I hear it's teriffic.

Yeah, it has Keratin in it. In addition to adding shine and sofness, it also adds strength.

Other Protein conditioners and rinses include:

Crom Emergencia
Miss Key Super Conditioner 10 en 1
La Bomba (haven't tried this yet but planning to because of the rave reviews I've read)
Capilo Silk protien Rinse
Henna Queen Silk worm rinse

These conditioners and rinses have protiens but I find that alot of them are also very moisturizing providing a nice balance of protein and moisture.

LaFier - Milk & Honey almond rinse - this is so moisturizing and also gives hair strength. I use this as a final rinse: pre-poo,shampoo, dc, rinse with LaFier.

To add to the others:

Romero
Noni
Nacidit Wheat Germ Rinse and Cond
Nacidit Olive Oil Rinse and Cond

OOps. I just noticed you said protein.

I really love the Pratail Silk worm...My hair is shiny and soft!

A good rinse is the 12 en 1...the pink one.

let me just say that I looooooove me some Salerm Wheat Germ Hair Mask. I'm not sure if it's dominican but I bought it from sickbay.biz
