If your hair doesn't like it, mine doesn't either lol. Should have asked you first ha!Yes it can make your hair feel hard. I'm low porosity as well and it tends to feel dry and hard. I'm not sure why though.
It's a hit or miss thing. Like others said formulation matters. It also may matter which step. It works. Enter for me as a styler. If your hair doesn't like it, mine doesn't either lol. Should have asked you first ha!
Right now I'm using the burdock root cream for a moisturizer but as you know it's too greasy. Then I'm using the Alma hai shea hemp castor parfait with Ayurvedic herbs from Jaekela Naturals and that has aloe gel or juice. Im not sure which yet, but I'm waiting on her to email me back with the answer. I'm only using it on the ends because my hair doesn't like oils and butters. I'm trying super hard to stop the breakage. My hair grows super fast but I can't stop the breakage and I'm just finding out that putting butters on the ends is helping a lot. However with this parfait, while its not causing breakage it is feeling dry. I know it's the parfait too because the length of my hair that just has the burdock root is not dry at all. It's a hit or miss thing. Like others said formulation matters. I use it in the Alikay naturals Creme Brulee and it works just fine. But I tried to create a moisturizer for my twist and it was a fail.
What products are you using?
Good moveI think I'll try another product with aloe high on the ingredients list and if i have the same results I know it's the aloe. You ladies are a wealth of knowledge as usual xoxox
Well I've just started using lily of the desert aloe vera juice & what I made in a spray/spritz bottle was a weaker Kimmytube's leave in moisturiser solution (direct leave in, oil, aloe juice oh & rose water) it's really good so far... I've also read not to overdo the aloe as it will make hair dry if you use too much aloe.I'm using something with aloe in it and when it dries my hair is hard. I'm wondering if that is the culprit because the other things in the aren't new to my hair. I have low porosity hair. Does that make a difference?
