Btw, how did you like the Phyto? Which index did you use? How long did you leave it in for? What is your hair type?

Girl, I saw her siggy in another post and was about to call her out too. Awesome progress!!! Not only is it growing but it looks so healthy too!! Beautiful

My hair is a very coarse 4a/4b. Almost like wire!

The Phyto was okay. I went to a salon to have it done and the stylist used the index II. She messed up the first time by trying to be skimpy with the product, so my hair didn't come out straight at all. So I told her I wasn't paying if she didn't do something, so she said she would do it over. (I've done this at home and nothing happened, so I told her she could) When she put it in the second time she used more and let it sit about 30 minutes (both times), even after washing and blow drying my hair minutes before, it never burned. At the end it tingled a little but that was all.
It reduced a lot of bulk in my hair plus it came out soft and silky, (even after having it put in twice within 1 hour) but not enough that I would pay $60 and put it in myself. There wasn't much of a difference from the TCB relaxer I get from Walgreens for $3.99. I think most of it was the CHI iron she used because after I washed it at home it felt normal.

So, will I get the Phyto Relaxer again?

My regimen is very simple....I do nothing! I work and go to school full-time, so I wear my hair in a ponytail and bun 99% of the time. I wash whenever I feel like, sometimes three to four times a week, but sometimes once a week. I also don't blow dry, use conditioner, or use a comb. Mostly because I'm lazy!!! But this site gives me tons of inspiration to start styling my hair more often.

***My all time favorite product is Breakthru shampoo by Soft Sheen and Carson, it makes my hair so silky and soft that I don't need a conditioner***

No, I don't use anything. Sometimes when I'm in the shower I forget to wet the outside with water, so I'll spray with Motions Nourish Leave-in Conditioner to soften it enough for me to brush.

Thanks for sharing MoonStar. I feel you about being "lazy". I also both work full time and go to school full time. Which doesn't leave much time for anything else. I've been reading that keeping it simple is the best way to go but it's always nice to see results.
