when my hair was natural i would tie it up in a ponytail, add some moisturizer to the ends, braid it then cover with a satin scarf.

I usually have my hair braided up or clipped up. I don't sleep with a cap or scarf. I sleep on a satin pillowcase.

If I do conditioner wash my hair, which isn't everyday, I do it in the morning so I don't have to worry about it being *too* wet at night.

I usually have my hair braided.

You might wanna trying braiding or putting your hair in a bun to keep your hair outta your face. I have grade 1 acne that I'm dealing with currently (have topical prescription ointments for it too), so I feel what you're talking about.

I pull it up in a loose ponytail and tie a scarf around the hairline. ...I can't sleep with my hair loose.

depends on the style i am wearing. however, i rarely just wear my hair as is with a satin scarf to bed. if i am doing an out style..i will plait/braid my up at night to keep from dealing with hair getting tangled during my WILD sleeping.

DITTO...you're asking for trouble if you wear it untied AND loose.

As soon as my natural hair was long enough, I would rinse/condition it before bed and put it up in about 3 little ponytails with the ends folded under. As my hair got longer the amount of ponytails has decreased to just 1. I always put on a satin scarf before bed (I don't always wake up with it on though...)Sleeping with my hair loose tends to make it tangled if I do it often. I'm too lazy to braid it, a ponytail only takes a few seconds to do.

I put WGO on my hair and massage it in. Then, braid my hair into about 5 or 6 loose cornrows and wrap a satin scarf around my head.

I'm texturized. Most times I spritz my hair with leave in and add a tiny bit of moisturizer and a little oil to the ends, then put it in a bun or ponytail and go to bed. If I'm not too tired I go find a scarf or bonnet.

When I wake up I do the spritzing and stuff again.

If it's been a rainy day I smooth some Elasta QP recovery over my hair and slip on my sleeping bonnet. In the morning my hair is kinda flat so I just shake, spray on som Infusium 23 (mixed with water) and go.

Depends on the style and how I'm feeling. Usualy, I just tie it up and go to sleep. I rinse it in the mornings.

If you look at my 'natural' album, you can see a picture of what my hair looked like after I washed my hair and wore it lose to bed. It's just matted and knotty.

No matter what style I wear, I always wear a satin scarf to bed. Sometimes at night after I rinse my hair and add products to it, I put it in a ponytail and tie the scarf around it. In the morning, that's when I loosen my ponytail because by that time the hair closer to my scalp will already by dry. I don't have to worry about it frizzing and puffing up.

I just brushed it back when it was shoulderlength stretched and do a twist like a french roll, and then roll it up with a scarf.

If I have worn it down, I put it up in a bun. Otherwise I dont change my hairdo for sleep (it can be in a bun, two braids or one braid).

If my hair is wet I put it in a loose braid.

If I'm wearing my hair curly, I usually add a bit of moisturizer on it, put on my satin bonnet, and call it a night. If I'm wearing it straight, lately, I've wrapped it, secure the wrap with satin tie down and then put on the bonnet.

At night I moisturize then put my hair up in a loose french twist/roll using Good Hair Days Hair Pins (the best!). I leave a few curls out in the front (so as to be pleasing to the eye of another

). If my hair is fuzzy, I'll make a few braids, but otherwise, I just pin. To keep my hairline in order, I take my satin scarf and fold it so that it looks like a head band, secure it and that's it! The band keeps my hair from falling in my face too much and it's just a few bundles of curls. If it's hanging too long, I just take a hair pin and pin it back loosely.

I also will not lie my head anywhere w/o silk or satin under it!

I put my hair in two quick twists then cover my head with a plastic cap or silk scarf.

Wow girls yr response has been great, I guess I need to buy a satin scarf or bonnet, thanks.
I want to catch up to at least one of you soon

I usually have my hair braided, but even if it's out I put about 6 braids in it, oil the ends and put on my satin bonnet.

If twisted I just wrap in with a satin scarf and go to bed. If its out I braid it in 4-6 braids and wrap with a scarf. I moisturize my ends every night.
