LOL! I was admiring my new growth last night wondering what it would look like if I chopped it all off.

I only have 2.5 - 3 inches, so I left that thought pretty quickly.

Good job Ceebee3 I am trying hard to not cut it off.

I am 7 months post I just BC'd first time I went natural.

I'm 18 weeks and I am so tempted... but due to the different textures I'm VERY reluctant to do it myself. I do want to do so by this summer though.

I'm 6 months and 3 weeks, would love to BC BUT it's frigid out and my hair is not long enough to do the twist styles that I like. In saying that PLEASE remember your hair will be EXTREMELY short, now if you are ok with that then fine. But I would suggest you to sit back relax and think of the begining of your transition and what your goals were. If they realistically changed then I say chop, but wait and do it when you're not frustrated cause once its gone its gone. HTH

Neek I think I've gotten over it for the day, lol...

I'm gonna make an appointment for some individual braids.

I am so proud of you! I will be throwing in my flag tomorrow after 19 weeks post. I wanted to be natural, but I do not beleive that I am ready right now. I love my roller sets, but my new growth is not having it.

I'm 9 months post and I've been getting the urge quite a bit as of late, but I do think I will enjoy it more if I way it out til summer. To me the key is hiding the hair, my hair was hiden from monts 5-8, and will be in a sewn in again in a matter of weeks. I hate dealing with the two textures.

I have been weaving since I decided to go natural and its been 4Months and 2 weeks... but whenever I take my hair out, I get the urge...a strong urge...lol then I run and weave it up again...lmao

I transitioned about 4 1/2 months, i was just so anxious to see what my natural hair looks like, since i never really seen it before. so far i love it. i dont thnk i would have transitioned very long tho.

I know the feeling, lol!!! I transitioned for only 6 months before my BC.I was getting so impatient... I applaud women who transition for more than 1 year !!!

I BC'd at 7 months and 3 weeks post. I only had 2.5-2.75 inches of growth. Looking back now I can't believe I did it but I'm glad I did. I know for myself if I attempted to wait for more than a year as I initially planned, then I would've relaxed.
