Calling All Chicago Ladies

I'm in the process of moving to Chicago from NYC and I'm still figuring my way around the city. I will be living on the South Side, in Hyde Park to be exact by the University of Chicago Campus.

Ladies, I need suggestions/recommendations on salons, beauty supply stores etc. I've been here for a week and my hair is screaming for help!!.

I'll be back in NYC this Friday so my hair will get some of the TLC hat it's been missing this past week.

For quick styling [I used to visit] Max & Co.
1453 E Hyde Park Blvd

It's located across the street from Kenwood H.S. (51st & Blackstone I believe)

On the corner opposite of Kenwood there Yehia's.

There's also Ossama's
5100 S Cornell Ave

These all Egytian Salons.
