I am an all natural 2 inch TWA wearer. I use Giovanni Direct Leave in as a moisturizer and seal with coconut oil. I plan on using castor oil as my oil rinse. Two questions:
  1. Is using castor oil as an oil rinse a good idea or should I just moisturize and seal as usual?
  2. Will using castor oil as an oil rinse benefit my hair as far as growth is concerned? I know it will help when detangling (Thanks Sereca)
I am a 4a natural.

TIA

Good question! I wanted to use my JBCO for my oil rinse and decided against it 'cause it was thick. I decided to use EVOO.

If you use castor oil as an oil rinse I would put a little conditioner in with it to dilute. Also I would put a just a tiny bit on your hair after your leave in to seal, shine and soften.

I tried using it as an oil rinse a few days ago and my hair felt really good. it was a little heavy though so i will try something lighter next time.

I think castor oils is kinda tacky for a rinse...I just use is in small drops on my ends because a little goes a long way.
