I just used a moisturizing conditioner (I think my pantene hydrating curls), and combed it through with my denman, and - get this - didn't rinse it out! My hair has never been that moisturized since! It takes my hair sooo long to dry that I can't get away with styles like that right now, but will probably do it again when the winter begins.
