Butter or oil for sealing?

Another coconut oil fan checking in! I love coconut oil because its so good for the hair. I use it in just about every part of my reggie. I use it daily to seal my ends, and I apply it to my scalp after shampooing. If I felt my hair needed it, I've been known to mix it in shampoos, dc's and conditioners. :yep:
Butters tend to leave a heavy coating on my hair, and can make my strands feel stringy and dry.

I voted for oil. I love love love castor oil for sealing my hair for my shrunken fro's. It's perfect.

But, I must say shea butter is a great butter for sealing. Mind you, I haven't tried any others. But when I did try shea it was really good.

I don't use coconut oil for "sealing" because it absorbs pretty quickly on my hair. But it's an amazing conditioner and detangler.

I like any type of oil for sealing except evoo. Evoo breaks my skin out. My favorite is coconut and grapeseed oil.

Oil depending on the season. I use more castor in the winter months and coconut during the summer months.

Pretty much any and all oils are in my hair care repertoire. I love the fact that you can use oils in pretty much every step of the hair regimen process.
