So...

the PJ in me is ticking again... BAHAHAHAHAAA
And i am thinking about using Bb products because they seem to be cone-free, petroluem-free and mineral oil free. Have any of you tried their products? I am thinking about trying the

Creme De Coco shampoo and condish
BS_Bumble_366.jpg

the Super Rich Condish

or the Curl Conscious poo and condish and creme

The Tonic

and the DEEEEEEP conditioner

Tell me what you think of the line or the company's products

I like their products..the few that I've tried. I used the super rich poo and condish and loved them. I've heard good things about the leave in(rinse out) conditioner. The only daunting part is the $$

Look at your hair. Looks nice. I'm gonna trust you...*****. With your "gud hurr.":p:grin::grin::grin: Yea, the money is a bit much. I don't mind so much because Wishin4BSL & I want to start a blog about "product junkism" and black hair.

The Bumble and Bumble products are nice but pricey. On the up side, most of their products come in travel sizes. I would recommend the travel sizes first and then repurchase your favorites. I like and have repurchased the following products;

Gentle Shampoo and Super Rich Conditioner
Curl Conscious Conditioner for Medium to Thick Hair
Leave In/Rinse Out Conditioner
Brilliantine

However, the Curl Conscious Conditioner is the same consistency as the Keracare Leave In Conditioner. And the Leave In/Rinse Out Conditioner has the same consistency and works very similiar to the Elucence Moisture Balance.

Both of the alternatives you mentioned are around the same price as the Bb. Are you saying they are better, or did you like Bb. better? I am curious... What exatly did each Bb product do for you hair???

I love their Super rich shampoo and conditioner, I alternate between this and deva curl no poo, and con. It's a great clarifier, and you only have to do one lather. I have the mammoth salon size and I've had it for like a year. I love it. It's almost gone new, so I have to go get more, but the price is crazy, but I guess when you find something that works you gotta keep it. Also it smells like clovers(yum!)

At one point, the my hair got used to the Elucence and stopped working. So, I switched over to the Bumble and Bumble. But, they both work just as well but the Bumble and Bumble is a little more concentrated.

The Curl Conscious works very well and it is a little more concentrated than the Keracare and not as greasy. I love both products. But, the Keracare is a great leave in to use in the summer time because it contains sunscreen. I use this when I air dry. I use the curl conscious when I am too lazy to deep condition. It moisturizes really well without heat.

**BUMP**

Has anyone ever tried their Scalp Rebalancing line? If so can you give reviews & did it help with you flaking?

I love Bumble & Bumble. I have used a variety of their products with no complaints (then didn't know the difference btw moisturising and restructuring-just "hmm my hair feels really nice with this")- thing is, i was a PJ (unknowingly) so never stuck to any one product (bought NExxus, then keracare, then Redken, then TIGI, then Paul Mitchell). At the moment i just found an almost full bottle of the Bumble & Bumble Leave in (rinse out) and my hair is loving it and STILL moisturised over 24 hours since using - for my dry hair that's major. It beats Giovanni leave in (for me) hands down! even though it is of a thicker consistency i dilute mine. HTH :)

The only product I tried of theirs in the thickening spray, as I read in Instyle that Ashanti used it. While it did make my hair appear thicker, it is loaded w/ alcohol!
I would not recommend this product. HTH

I'm not a believer in "thickening" products. If you want thicker hair, grow thicker hair.:grin::grin: Maybe the thickening conditioner is better than the spray, but the only way i could see that is if it has biotin in it? Other than that, i don't believe in such products. And you know what? I think the reason it has alcohol in it is because its really a soft hold spray (spritz) that gives you the illusion if thicker hait by holding the root up. The strand itself, isn't getting thicker.

I have been wanting to try the super rich for a while. It's the money that is making me hedge.

I  the super rich conditioner. There is no protein in it and its great at detangling. I don't like it as much as the alojoba but it still amazing.

Before switching to Aveda, I used Bumble and Bumble products; I used the:
1. Ajoba Shampoo/Conditioner-the poo was great for my dry hair and the cond. left my hair moisturized.
2.The Leave-in was okay; didn't give me a lot of slip that my natural hair requires.
3.Brilliantine- I used it prior to blow drying, gave my hair great shine, but left my hair too heavy.and a little stiff. But I could have just used too much.
4.Straight- this is a great silicone serum! it left my hair light and smooth and full of body. I would apply it lightly to each section of hair prior to straightening. It is right up there with Aveda's Smoothing Fluid.
5. And I would finish my hair after styling with the Does It All Hair Spray. its okay, it did not hold my curls all that long; and it's loaded with SDalcohol.
All in all their produts are of good quality. Except for the Prep; it's a spray-on leave-on conditioner, that left my hair dry and tangly and brittle, which led to breakage. I do not recommend that product at all. :(

Easier said than done for many :lachen:, so you gotta' 'fake it till you make it.' That's why I stated appear thicker, b/c as we all know, no single hair product is going to actually make the hair strand thicker.

Just rollerset using the big rollers. i totally understand. My thick hair is my blanket... I don't care how short it is, but my hair better be TEXAS pageant BIG! I want you to be able to lose your hands in my super soft, super coifed thick hair. I suggest, since you are natural with wear curly rollerset. It makes you hair look thick without being thick. Or, what you could do it put the styling creme on the actual root (which will hold it up) and then style. Gives the illusion until you get the thick hair. Uh? Uh?

i was considering this line when i was on my staple hunt, nw that i've found my staples this line is just too pricey for me, I'm not willing to pay $24 for 8 oz when my staple shampoo is $12 for 8 oz and my backup shampoo is $6 for 12 oz, i'm quite satisfied with my staple products and they work very well for me, i have no desire too look for anything else at the moment

And I totally go through it like, "that" (snaps fingers). I am trying to get the professional or liter size bottles tho. Organix Coconut Conditioner is my back up.

Actually my hair is relaxed. I usually put a few rollers in the top, and wrap the base, b/c frankly, I'm too lazy to rollerset my entire head . Plus rollersetting the crown gives me the volume I desire anyway. Now my hair isn't thin per se, it's just fine. I think if the genetic make up of your hair is fine textured, then it is what it is. However keeping breakage to the minimum and style choice can help you achieve the look of fullness on fine hair.

OMG! I do that too when i am lazy or i want the sleek look. Just put grease on the root and tease it up.

Thanks Destiny####
