BSL to a BOB for a sorority?!?!

They made girls cut their hair shorter than that for navy bootcamp. I wasn't bsl, but there were some that were, and man, it was horrible. Just my 2 cents. But, no, I don't think I'd do it. I'd go with the weave thing that someone mentioned earlier.

I don't understand why this was necessary. Who is REALLY going to cuss her out? Sometimes it seems that people just WANT drama to pop off, which is why comments like these are usually made erplexed

No one is losing sleep over anyone's opinions. For every negative opinion of a sorority, there's a positive one to counteract it. So why someone would cuss her out in a hair thread is beyond me.

Actually I'm not into drama, but EVERY last sorority person I know acts crazy the moment you talk about their sorority or anything that might even relate to them. In any situation. So far without fail. I don't know where your from or how your sorority people act but in NJ/PA/NY that's how they act.

And I've seen it in other threads. Thanks for you input.

Which is exactly why, after signing my papers with the Navy, I went knocking on the AF recruiters door to get me outta there! I wasn't cutting nothin!

And I wouldn't do it for a Sorority either. I at least hope they donated the hair to locks of love or something.

^^^ girl me too. my friend with Bsl locs is gonna be out of luck. she doesn't want to cut her hair but she wants to do Navy. tough luck for her.​

Yeah, if you want to keep your locks, I suggest trying the Air Force!!! Navy will do it. Or, if you really want to do the Navy, do the weave thing. Sew you in some weave, and they will just cut that.

That's why the military can kiss my a$$!!! No sir! And as far as for a sorority it would be a weave or wig for sure. Too much time, money and energy put into my hair for it to get cut off.....

No, I wouldn't cut my hair. I think the people that told her that doesn't have hair to begin with. After you pledge, you have deal with also the sister-drama. I don't think it is worth it.
