Brushes

What brushes if any are good for our hair? I have a vent brush for general styling and a soft boar brush for smoothing if i wear my hair of my face. Are they or are they not good to use?

I've read recently that boar brushes are best for curly hair, but that quality is the least damage so buy the best you can afford. They recommended the mason pearson brand. Those are super expensive but are supposed to last a lifetime.

I have a very soft boar bristle brush. I love it, although I don't brush my hair very often.

I haven't used a brush in about 2 months and to tell you the truth I don't miss it. Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question, however, brushes have a tendency to pull the hair out. Something to think about.
