If you are going to brush I would stick with only brushing while it was dry and get a quality brush.
Since I stopped brushing my hair it has thickened up tremendously. I haven't brushed in over a year![]()
Definitely don't brush your hair while wet..I only brush my edges..NEVER EVER the length of my hairReslnt1 said:I can't seem to find a thread that would let me know if i should brush or not brush my hair (wet or dry) and why or why not.

Reslnt1 said:Do you just use your hands to smooth it back?...if so does it not tangle underneath
imstush said:I am slowly trying to get rid of the brush, but I have the same issues of how do I smooth my hair into a ponytail. I now use a baby brush.

I haven't used a brush in 3 months
and I wear my hair in a ponytail/bun thing everyday.
After I bought my Jilbere Shower comb...
I threw everything else away... literally.
I learned how to detangle in the shower
I really believe there's no need to
comb/brush if you detangle properly
when you're washing and making sure to
use a scarf at night.
Reslnt1 said:Now do you use the baby brush b/c the bristles are soft and there is less pulling...possibly
