I had this broken patch since Aug of 2006. It was growing a little at one point now its back to square one again:sad:

Anywhoo, I notice for the past couple of weeks, well maybe months, it's been feeling sore, like theres a little pain in that spot. Not sure how to describe it but it's making me kinda nervous. It's sad to say but i had many broken off areas before and I never had this sore feeling ever.

It's not bald but the area is about two long at best:ohwell: I didnt get hit in the head or anything so I'm not sure whats going on.

Does anyone know what this could mean?

are you using any chemicals in your hair and what products and what started it if you can remember

I have a patch like that below my ear on the left and IDK why. It's maybe 2 inches long. It's been like that since I was relaxed. And I haven't had a perm in over 2 years. :ohwell:

I left out the details because I didnt want to bore yall but it started when I was natural and my hairdresser burnt that part off. I guess the comb was too hot.

I got a relaxer and it seems like its been growing and then breaking off.

I was letting my stylist relax it because it was growing a little but now I know I'm gonna tell her not to relax it and the day of my touch up I'll be putting lots of grease and conditioner to prevent any damage.

Sometimes I thinks its one of those "watched pot never boils situations" cuz I've been desperate for it to grow back.
