it is a good source of complex B vitamins - thiamin, niacin and some others. Its a good vitamin for growth of hair, nails and taking care of skin.
a brand? Er, no. i just buy bags from the health shop or eat marmite/vegemite (its a spread made from brewers yeast). It tastes vile on its own, but... it really goes well with cheese.

I used to eat brewers yeast cookie bars as a child (hippie parents).You can't find the cookies anymore. But I am still reaping the benefits, my hair and nails still grow fast and healthy.But I agree with Canuck vegemite is a good alternative. I suggest mixing it with margarine and spreading it on toast as a side dish.
