Has anyone ever tried this product? And if so what do you think about it??

I've used it. I'm just now finishing my first bottle of it but I probably won't purchase it again... It does its job but it's a bit too heavy for my hair. I can only apply it to my hair about once every two days so it won't look greasy. Then again I liked to use about two pumps of it. Oh and it has a nice smell to it.

The first 5 ingredients are: Water, Mineral Oil, Glycerin, Petrolatum and Cetearyl Alcohol.

I hope that was some help. It's not a bad product. It's pretty decent in my opinion.

i used to use this...i used the shampoo, conditioner, and lotion

its really heavy thats all i have to say

I have used it before and like kris.... it work ! I'm thinking about using this again. I've been eyeballing it for the past 2 months. :look:

thanks for replies! It is heavy I will admit, but very moisturizing...I think I'll keep using it and see what happens

My stylist told me to use this, apparently it has protein in it. So I would apply this first while my hair was rod set, then I would apply my oils. I think it definitely made my hair stronger.

I used this product when I wore my hair semi-natural.

I think it's too heavy if your hair is relaxed and flat ironed out. It really weighs it down.

But if your hair is curly and you don't have to really comb (manipulate) your hair, this is the stuff for you :)

My hair used to be so pretty... you could also try diluting it with an essential oil too, to "break it down" a little.

Is this the one in the orange bottle? Well if so... my hair hates it! It did nothing for me. My hair is apparently anti- mineral oil and petroleum in products. It is really greasy.

Yeah, my hair didn't like it either. :( I tried the Breakthru shampoo, conditioner, and moisturizer about 4 years ago. Maybe it's changed since then.

I bought this stuff about 2 years ago and my hair hated it. I left it sitting in the back if the closet until about 3 weeks ago. This time I decided to use it on wet hair instead of dry. It worked!! My hair felt strong and softer. I guess it penatrated better on wet hair versus dry.

Great post Ginsana, I too have also wondered about this product. :)

Yes I'm bringing up a post from 2005.

Does anyone still use this? I found it in my product graveyard and have been thinking about reviving it. I used to use it in high school when I used to put a curling iron (on the hottest setting of course) to my hair everyday and was still retaining growth and had a full head of hair.

I review this in detail in my Sally's album (See fotki). BAD NEWS. :nono:
