Hey phyto users, I was wondering, when you first switched over, did you experience any breakage, from your old perm meeting you new one, or any other problems encountered since using phyto. Thank you.
And what type of heat are you using on your hair. Thanx again.

In a word "no". I am a new Phyto convert and so far, so good. I use a blow dryer or hooded dryer and curling iron twice a week when I wash my hair. (I'm trying to reduce the heat use.) I used no-lye before I switched to phyto which is also a no-lye so there should be no breakage.

I love how it makes my hair feel.

Overall, I think my hair has improved since I started using Phyto. However, I don't think I will use that milky reconstructor again. It seems to make my hair dry and tangled. The last time I relaxed, I ended up using Humecto after the milky reconstructor, which helped tremendously.

I do know that some people experience dryness, not only from Phyto, but other no-lye relaxers as well. and dryness can lead to breakage if not properly cared for. But i've been using phyto for 6 years now and haven't experienced either.

I was using the VitaForce conditioner when I first used Phyto and that was nice.

No problems with phyto on the dryness side. no breakage either, but I also don't use heat very often either.

I will say that my phyto hair is much easier to care for than the stuff I used before (at one) And there was a definite difference in feel and textures between the two.

The hair that had the AtOne on it started trippin though, so I had to cut it. (still amazed I'm right back at shoulder length so soon though)

X Co-signing on the above :)
