Breakage Breakage. Help

:hiya:
I think you should try a chelating poo and/or get a shower filter. I believe Paris has hard water.

Use the chelating poo for your 1st lather. Follow-up with a moisturizing poo for the 2nd lather.

I hope the issue gets resolved soon!

thats what i did yesterday ;-) I used ors creamy aloe . twice. it felt clean after that.

i dont know if water in Paris is really hard or not.I never end up with white skin after the shower if i dont put cream on (i experienced that in tunisia).
Also, everyone drinks tap water here (its nice) and waters are well treated in order for us to be able to drink it.

nothing near the river "seine" lol buuuuur nasty

@ccolsista-paris, at one point, my hair wasn't responding to anything and a shower filter helped tremendously.

Hi To all.ô decided to post after 2-3weeks of breakage!!my hair is not behaving as usual. ..i clarified. ..tried more moisture (it refuses to stay mousturized!!!!i dc 2 days ago...its already dry. my hair snaps and maybe i need less protein and lots of moisture. problem is every conditionner,dc,moisturizer i have are with protein. Im lost. nothing works. Should i dc again? what products are protein free? i have natural 4 hair, fine to médium strands High density. take vitamins? (My nails seem to grow less and break now )

Thank you
This post made me think about your situation. Maybe it's worth trying since you can't easily access all the products recommended here?

You need a MOISTURE-DRENCHED Pre-Poo?!!

Maybe try looking into MHM thread. My hair used to not hold moisture AT ALL. But when I started doing the MHM it helped with my moisture retention and it helped me to identify when to appropriately apply protein.

If you don't want to try out MHM try diluting your conditioner with water. The best moisturizer is water. As far as conditioner I really like Tressume Curls Undone conditioner. I use 2oz of this conditioner mixed with 8oz of water. Also, like the other posters have mentioned you may want to start DCing with heat or DC overnight. It sounds like you have low porosity hair.

I hope this helps

i just checked it out. seems good. + Aloe vera gel was on my list of ingredients to buy (for my sons eczema and my hair and make a little potion for stretchmarks) ;-)
