The styles I used to do before were pretty simple, didn't have the patience to do more creative and patterned styles. Well I did this time! :grin: I'll be doing this more as I'm in cornrows all this winter. Gotta make things interesting!
Tis all.:look:

so pretty! You did a great job! I can't even part my hair straight!
Lots of practice and multiple mirrors help. I didn't really get to use a mirror in the back of my head last night at my cousins, thus why they're not so straight. But trust me, with patience you can do it!

Ok...I think I can see how you divided/did that... hmm... I may try it on my next braid up...

Anyways, it very creative and looks good, thanks for sharing.

And I'm definitely with you on the braiding for the winter. If I come up with something funky, I'll hit u up.

Its more simple than it looks, I promise! Mook I KNOW you can do it, with all those pretty braids I see you doing. I just part from ear to ear and section off the back half. In the front I would part my hair slanted, pretendting like I was going to do the first 1/2 with braids all going to the side, like :
(///////)
However I braid one, then make the same type of parting again as I if I were doing one next to it, but section it off, without braiding it . Thee end result should be this in the front of my head:

(/_ /_ /_ /).

"/" = a cornrow
"_" = hair left out

Then you go back over the sections as if you were doing braids slanted going the other direction:

(\\\\\\\\)

The end results should be (XXXXXX)
Then for the back, just part each braid from where it left off, going straight down (|||||||) and you've got it!
I really hope that made sense!

Oh wow! Thanks for how-to. Your hair looks lovely.
