Braids...

Hello all. I am a newbie in here.
I am a natural 4a/b and I just braided my hair with extensions, I still need to finish.
My questions is, do you experienced ladies think that the size of my parts in relation to the amount of hair that I used is ok? I can't tell if I need to make my parts smaller or add more hair since this is my first time.

it's really up to you. I do micros and have done them for years.they look fine to me. As long as it's not too much stress on any parts that's fine.

Your hair looks just right and you did a great job to be your first time!!!! The more you do your hair, the better you will get with the size of the parts and the amount of hair to use in each plait. I'm plaiting my hair right now and this time, I'm doing my boxes bigger.

It is sooo nice not having to rely on someone else to do you hair.
That's the one thing that I used to hate when I used to get my hair braided a lot.
I think next time, I will try to make my parts a bit smaller though.
We'll see how long it'll take my natural hair to puff outta them.
