Sidestepping the "lynch mob"
Isn't she a /images/graemlins/littleangel2.gif??? --------> PIC I think it should be mandated that all black girls should always wear braids and ponytails and keep their hair natural until age 21! /images/graemlins/rofl.gif
Got/found any pics of braided styles for girls??

OMG! she is too precious! and imagine how long our hair would be if we could enforce that rule. the only thing is making sure the braids aren't done too tight so the hairline doesn't suffer... /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif

True! /images/graemlins/mad.gif I will add and that the braid and hair is washed, conditioned and moisturized so the hair is not in worse condition than when they were put in. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I know that's right. I have seen so many little girls with extremely tight braids and cornrows (and with very damaged hair lines). Geez, that always makes me so mad. /images/graemlins/mad.gif It does not have to be tight to look good and last!

I totally agree with the idea that little girls should wear braids and ponytails. I don't ever plan on relaxing my daughter's hair. She is strictly a ponytail/braid girl. Thanks to the naturals here, I've picked up some great tips on maintaining her naturals and keeping them moisturized. I'll post some pics of her later. /images/graemlins/smile.gif.

PS. I ALWAYS, go out of my way to comment her on how nice her hair looks and how pretty it is. It's important as mothers , for us to teach our girls to love their hair.
