Braid out

I see many of you referring to braidouts? What are they?

I think a braid out is when people braid their hair while wet.... using styling products... and let it dry.... then they either leave it braided or unbraid it (for crimps).

I was also wondering what it means to bump a thread? sometime I see people just say "bump" here... what does that mean?

bumping is replying to a thread to move it to the front page for everyone to view when they logon, so pp. are more likely to read it. moving a thread up to the front page without adding a message, pp. do by just writing "bump" in the post box.
